Now in its 10th year, Story Club is a themed live storytelling night where exceptional people sit in a giant armchair and read true stories out of a novelty-sized book. In a special Festival edition of Story Club, hear guests share their funniest stories, darkest moments and their shameful secrets on the theme of ‘Let Us Never Speak of this Again’. Hosted by Ben Jenkins and Zoe Norton-Lodge.

Debra Oswald (Australian)
Debra Oswald is creator of the TV series Offspring, and a two-time winner of the NSW Premier’s Literary Award. Her stage plays include Gary’s House, Mr Bailey’s Minder and Stories in the Dark. Her television credits include Police Rescue, Sweet and Sour and Bananas in Pyjamas. Debra has written three Aussie Bite books and six children's novels. Her first adult novel was Useful and her new novel is The Whole Bright Year.
Ben Jenkins (Australian)
Ben Jenkins is a writer, comedian and television presenter on the ABC. His work has been featured in The Monthly, The Guardian Australia, People of Letters and The Best Australian Comedy Writing.
Zoe Norton Lodge (Australian)
Zoe Norton Lodge is a writer and performer working in television, radio, print and theatre. She is currently a writer and presenter on ABC's The Checkout. She has recently been working with producer John Edwards on the development of two new narrative drama television shows. Zoe is co-creator and performer on Story Club, a live, monthly storytelling night television show. Zoe’s writing is widely published in Australian anthologies including Best Australian Stories. Her first book of short stories, Almost Sincerely was met with wide acclaim.
